The Safety Committee plays a vital role in strengthening the hospital’s emergency preparedness and overall safety culture.It is responsible for:

- Advising and supporting the development and implementation of operational strategies and plans related to SMC healthcare safety and emergency management.
- Overseeing the entire emergency planning process, including preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are effectively implemented and followed throughout the hospital.
- Serving as the Disaster Management and Planning Committee, expanding its scope to include responsibilities related to disaster response coordination and recovery planning.
