Critical Care


The critical care units are state-of-the art areas for patients requiring thorough medical treatment and are staffed by well-trained physicians from different specialties and highly trained nurses to look after acutely ill patients with different diseases, cardiac, respiratory, trauma and post-surgical etc. The units have facilities for bedside and central monitoring of ECG, Blood Oxygen, Blood Pressure, and Venous Pressure etc. The unit is fully equipped for artificial ventilation of patients with respiratory failure and other conditions needing artificial ventilation. The steps down beds are for patients recovering from acute illness in ICU and before they can be moved from ICU to the general ward.

  • NICU
  • There are Nursery units for the healthy newborn and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) for the sick babies. A trained Pediatrician attends every delivery, and a team of Neonatologists and highly trained pediatricians and nurses give best care for all neonates. Our Neonatal Intensive care units are fully equipped with up to date equipment as incubators, ventilators and monitors. Our NICUs are ready to receive any sick neonate whether with any medical problem such as Extreme prematurity and respiratory distress syndrome, or with a surgical problem as congenital malformation.

  • CCU
  • These are modern well equipped units staffed by well-trained cardiologists and nurses to look after acutely ill cardiac patients who have different cardiac conditions ranging from heart attacks to patients with rhythm disturbance. The unit has facilities for bedside and central monitoring of ECG, Blood Oxygen, Blood Pressure, and Central Venous Pressure etc. Facilities for temporary trans venous cardiac pacing and Swan - Ganz catheterization is also available.

  • ICU
  • Ultra-modern units that are well-equipped and staffed by well-trained physicians from different specialties and highly trained nurses to look after acutely ill patients with different diseases, cardiac, respiratory, trauma and post-surgical etc. These units have facilities for bedside and central monitoring of ECG, Blood Oxygen, Blood Pressure, and Venous Pressure etc. These units are fully equipped for artificial ventilation of patients with respiratory failure and other conditions needing artificial ventilation. The Rooms are of big size and the beds of the unit are the latest in the technology to provide the comfort for the patient and the optimum position for nursing and medical treatment needed by the condition of the patient.
